Random news and a visit from Aunt Sam!

Random news #1: Braxton is a very cute girl...Random news #2: I seriously wore 2 different boots to church and my open house last Sunday. Just plain sad.

Cheers! Sam and I enjoyed an amazing dinner at Jakes, and of course a little vino:)

Salmon

Braxton and Aunt Sam...Brax was pretend talking on her phone to Dad, he loved her!So while I was giving Braxton a little privacy to 'poop', he yelled out LAAALLLOOOOOO! I went in there and this is the proud face I see, and automaticaly assume he pooped...right?!!? .......

....and here is the poop. I was dying laughing b/c when I looked, only the smallest one was in there. I died laughing and made Sam come get a taste of potty training. We both laughed and laughed! Then after he tried a little harded the other small one came. Ha.

just playing...

Braxton took these next 2 pics, he obviously has some trouble b/c my camera is sooo heavy!

being silly eating lunch with Aunt Sam again!

and Brax trying to leave with Sam, I don't think Bj would have appreciated that!

Thanks for coming to visit us for a few quick days! It was much needed and I can't wait to head to Spokane in 1 month! Luv ya bear! Braxton says " YOU'RE BJ AUNT SAM!!!"

Celebrate!

Easter is about celebrating new life, what a fun day we had spending it with our families. Grandma and Grandpa arrived in town and the fun never stopped! We had a nice time visiting a different Church on Sunday that Bj's parents attended back when they lived here. We also cooked a turkey and had many egg hunts. The little boys were a little candy crazy:) Also on the topic of new life, Bj's sister is pregnant for the third time and she is NOT finding out the sex! How crazy can she drive us!?! We are all excited and she will have quite the baby bump at our wedding this summer! Congrats ;) Uncle Nik and Brax

After church and the egg hunts the boys lined up to play on this big blow up slide thingy...Braxton is so cute waiting in lines but I'm getting a little tired of big kids cutting and pushing their way in front of him, watch out big kids or I'll have to teach you a lesson and Lalo will show you how it feels!

Our little politician

Like I said the goofing around never ended, Grandpa and Braxton 'fairy dancing' as they called it!

and Grandpa Robert....or waaabut as we call him when he acts a little 'special'!!

Braxton was being a little pill so I told him I was going to ship him to tim-buck-too and this box worked perfectly....but my plan didn't as he is sitting next to me right now;)

Go Simon Go!! Don't laugh at our Easter baskets, we had 'kid' ones but they were full of goodies, so they crown royal bags did the trick!

Braxton

David was soo excited that he didn't have time to put his eggs in his bag and then he wouldn't have his hands free for more! Haha

Good job boys, who trained u to hunt for eggs!? They were all found! Happy late Easter!

YIKES!

I definitly need this...and have been researching it...because we bake sooo much...and sit on the counter...and if I turn my head for 2 seconds........this happens....

Poor bubba, I felt like a HORRIBLE mama, and boy did he scream:( It made us sick, Bj called it his early easter egg. Thank the lord the next morning it was just a bruise and a little sore.

Preparing for Easter:)

Braxton's masterpiece, one broke so they ate it!! I love an excuse to bake! Easter is one of them, and carrot cake cupcakes we sooo fitting.

Look how big Roo is getting!! She is such a sweet girl, all potty trained all. Now we just need to work on the barking, shock collar here I come! Are Grandma and Grandpa here yet!?

These are Braxton's cute little chicks he picked out at the store, we named one peep....:)

Bubs and Dad painting easter eggs, no dye this year! We did a glitter paint set instead of the traditional eggs, and they turned out super cute:)

Helping out on chore day, dusting the d*** blinds, they are so nice but such a pain!

UFC Fight Night

Happy Birthday Beej! We celebrated Bj's birthday with a few friends last Saturday night. We had amazing home-made pizzas and chocolate cupcakes, and maybe a few bevs;) Thanks for coming everyone, it was great to see u all!

Spring is Here!

I can't believe all the snow has finally melted! It has been a long and hard winter finding activities for all of us to keep busy that don't involve the outdoors. The freezing temps have caused a little chaos with the dogs and humans all couped up in our house! But now, my crocuses have bloomed, my rose tree is alreading budding, dogs have been walking almost daily, and Braxton/friends/cousins can play outside. We also made a trip to church this past Sunday with Braxton and he had a great time. These are some pictures of the three of us going to Church.
Braxton has been pretty funny lately. He is a very big boy, working on potty training, coloring, baking, and steering (his toys of course). He is also good at getting a few time-outs and back talking:) Overall, he cracks us up most of the time! The past few weeks he has been into changing in 'secret'. He either sneaks into his room during the day or right when he wakes up, before we even hear him! He gets into his big kid clothing drawer and puts on everything that he either wore the day before that is inside out and backwards, or is a size 4 or 5T, which is always a dress on him! It's pretty entertaining when we tell him he can't wear that out for the day so he asks if he can wear it tomorrow! Everything is either last night or tomorrow and it's so funny because he doesn't even know what that means!
We have been trying to hang out with family a little more lately. It's hard when a lot of them live here but we are all so busy with our lives that we don't see eachother enough. Bj's sister's family came over the other weekend, we bbq'd and played with the skateboard and Braxton's new 4 wheeler. Bj took all the little boys on rides and they had such a good time!
Here is Simon the oldest, he is watching the boys on the 4 wheeler with his foot on the skateboard, so cute.
Uncle Bj and David driving crazy!
Braxton also loves when Dad brings his fast car home from work on nice days. When he was little he would say "Go go go DAD!!!" So now that the weather is picking up, these two have been outside playing with all sorts of toys. Here they are going on a little joy ride, and hopefully staying under 80 miles an hour!!!
I already mentioned Bubba's new 4 wheeler but we really do use this thing almost every day! It's so fun and he is learning to steer( without sudden jolts that throw me off the back) and to let off the gas a little on corners, which also keep me 'hanging' on. It's really is crazy how fast they grow up. Sometimes I miss the little baby stage, but soon enough! Braxton and Bj are washing off the fourwheeler here because they tend to only drive in mud when they ride, Brax and I are much more clean!

You boys are so much fun! I don't know what I would do without you! Love u:)

Wedding planning!

Well lately I have had a lot on my hands, obviously since it has been 2 years since I have updated our blog! I have been busy planning our wedding while also working on a new listing, working at Jakes, and taking care of Braxton and the house. I wish wedding planners were free! I have most of planning finished but still need a photographer and a few decorations. My bestest friend Sam is coming to visit me in a few weeks and we are going to make the invitations and I can't wait! As much fun as this planning is I wish the wedding was tomorrow! It's going to be an amazing day and I just can't wait to start a life/family together! These are our wedding colors, this is not our picture but one of inspiration, so not our rings either. Our main colors are a coral/blood orange, and blush pink. I will have oranges, yellows, and pinks in all flowers tho:) the flowers are tulips, spray roses, and rananculus.
This is the color of my bridesmaid dresses...
and this is style of bridesmaid dresses....
In feb, the girls and I took a trip to Bozeman to continue the search for my wedding dress. It was a little difficult b/c I knew exactly what I wanted:) I ended up finding it and we had a great time in Bozeman and then stayed the night in Chico Hotsprings. What a great girls trip!

Love you girls! Thanks for going with me!
